Each guest can enjoy a uniquely styled bedroom with a hotel-quality bed, contemporary en-suite, televisions, and storage space in each bedroom in this fantastic dog welcoming property.
The Lighthouse Suite
Take the arched exit from the entrance hall and straight ahead of you is the door that leads to The Lighthouse Suite. With it's own entrance hall area with doors to its luxurious bathroom and enormous bedroom.
We named this suite for the views of Start Bay Lighthouse that can be seen from the panoramic bedroom window that stretches the whole width of the bedroom. this bedroom looks out over the bespoke fire pit garden.
A super comfortable super king bed awaits you with crisp cotton sheets awaits you inviting you to lie in and relax. The colour scheme of teal was inspired by the colour of the sea as your bedroom has views down across the village and out to sea and towards Start Bay Light House. Plenty of room for all your dog's baskets and if you need a bit of peace and quiet?
Then why not relax on the chaise lounge with a good book or perhaps a little snooze. As with all bedrooms, you have your own flat-screen TV and the room has plenty of hanging and drawer space.
As you enter your bathroom you will be greeted by a decadent free-standing, roll-top, claw-footed double-ended bath, time to unwind! Or if showers are more your thing the walk-in shower with a wonderful rain shower as well as an integrated handset (if rain showers are not your thing.) should be just what you were looking for.
As the bathroom is very much part of your suite but accessed via your own hall not your bedroom if you want to let other guests use the bath you can still retain the privacy of your bedroom.
The Boat House
From the spacious hall under the arch is the corridor that leads down the back of the house and it is there you will find the Boat House Bedroom, named for the boats that sail past Slapton Sands, our local beach that can be seen from the beautiful picture window.
There is a subtle nautical theme for this room and it has a zip link king-size bed, with crisp cotton sheets awaiting you inviting you to lie in and relax. The zip link can be converted to two full size single beds please let us know your configuration request when booking, perfect for friends or younger guests. A brand new ensuite shower room is a new addition to this bedroom. As with all bedrooms, there is room for dog baskets.

The ensuite shower room as all the bathrooms do has its own style and the shower has a wonderful rain shower as well as an integrated handset is rain showers are not your thing.
The Beehive Bedroom
Tucked away at the rear of the house accessed via a rear hallway off the kitchen is the Beehive Bedroom named for the bees that live in the garden this room has uninterrupted views. There are subtle hints to the room's name and it is a tranquil room with a kingsize bed with crisp cotton sheets. As with all bedrooms, there is room for dog baskets, have we mentioned we are dog friendly?
As with all bedrooms, it has a flat-screen TV and ample wardrobe and drawer space.
This kingsize bedroom has probably my favourite ensuite shower room, with its double walk-in shower with a wonderful rain shower as well as an integrated handset (if rain showers are not your thing) at each end of the shower.
The Garden Room
As Whitebeam Wood is a split-level house this bedroom is on the lower ground floor accessed via a flight of stairs from the entrance hall. As the name suggests this room is named for the glorious garden and wood that wraps around the house. Two large windows provide the most wonderful views out onto the garden and wood.
This bedroom is almost as large as the Lighthouse Suite with a kingsize bed, the crisp cotton sheets await you inviting you to lie in and relax. As with all bedrooms, there is room for dog baskets. Looking for some relaxation time then how about grabbing a book and stretching out on the chaise lounge, or perhaps a snooze is in order?

In the ensuite, we have framed 3 of the original shower tiles as a way of keeping some of the original features added by the lady who had the house built to her personal design.
