Genuinely no limit on the number of dogs, we don't ask what breeds they are, why would we? Your dogs are welcome on sofas and beds, after all they are family!
Whitebeam Wood is a stunning holiday location that offers the perfect opportunity to relax, surrounded by breathtaking sea views. Located in the heart of the picturesque village of Slapton, South Devon, this large and beautifully refurbished holiday cottage is ideal for those seeking a peaceful and tranquil retreat with their dogs.
At Whitebeam Wood, we welcome up to 8 guests and 2 infants in travel cots, which we provide. All our guests, whether human or furry, are invited to make themselves at home and enjoy every aspect of the house and garden. Our fully equipped cottage has 4 ensuite bedrooms, all generously sized and fitted with their own TVs.
Whitebeam Wood is perfect for families with children, as we provide two high chairs, travel cots, and a stair gate. The property also features a games room with a full-size ping pong table, table football, and magnetic darts, as well as a range of indoor and outdoor games and a variety of books.
Guests can enjoy alfresco dining in the Secret Garden, complete with a BBQ and stunning views across the village to the sea. The garden also features a sheltered fire pit, perfect for social evenings by the fire. Our EV charging point and private parking provide peace of mind and convenience for our guests.
Located just half a mile away from the stunning 3-mile-long dog-friendly beach of Slapton Sands, Slapton Village is home to two food-serving pubs that warmly welcome children and dogs. The beach curves around Start Bay and is backed by the extraordinary freshwater lagoon of Slapton Ley, a nature reserve that provides a beautiful and peaceful spot for nature lovers to explore.
